You are More than Able

It was said that the GB 2012 (Great Britain Olympics) ‘is the greatest show on earth’… but personally the Paralympics was great motivation and inspiring for me- it shows truth in human challenges.

People had their own views both positive and negative with the Paralympics- there were views on the television, newspaper tabloids, and various conversations were going on.

It is quite interesting to note, how we as humans react to certain things… whether it is systems, rules, policies, processes or anything for that matter we are not happy about.

For example, sometimes, you may not be a part of the quarrel, originally, but somehow you got involved – whether by close associates or friends, or even family member/s – it happens! And before you know it… you are on the bandwagon and you start to lose your focus.

A person who has his/her dreams and visions must always be on the alert. As a good soldier you cannot afford to leave your position of purposebecause the enemy in defeat will attack and you know the rest… so be on your alert!

Ask the Lord for guidance, think about what you are going to say and the message you want to deliver, say your piece, move on… Don’t let situations consume you to frazzle – about anything or anyone… do not allow unpleasant circumstances make you lose your goals or vision.

You can take something positive from athletes of the Paralympics – so, get on your mark, get set, GO – Get that courage, that mindset, initiative, the drive… the spirit to pursue success, always try to pursue greatness through ‘God’s help’.

You may not have a physical disability but… what is your insufficiency? Use what you have, it may not even look like much…again ‘Use what you have‘ do not lose your goal, be resilient, be self reliant, be self sufficient, be empowered’. If you feel handicapped – is this because you are challenged by those around you, do you feel hindered by some persons around you in some way or the other? Be a good soldier and stay at your post even if you are wounded. Ask the Lord for guidance, think about what you are going to say and the message you want to deliver …don’t be deterred – press, push, crawl, hop… Whatever good it takes… be determined. Forward still…Backward never!!   Aim High!!
