Be Aware – Think First

Wikileaks / whistle blowers have been the latest news these days, both in the media and newspapers. The thought that comes to my mind is – ‘what goes around comes around’; what is hidden in the dark will come to light. It does not matter who we are – it may seem long, but as the saying goes… ‘Long run short catch’!!

On a more spiritual note – God repays every man according to his work; none of us are exempt, no matter what status we are. The lesson for us today – let us take heed to our ways lest we fall into temptation.

The righteousness of God is the perfection of the soul”.  Inspired by- Psalms143:11 Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name’s sake: for thy righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.

A familiar saying is:

‘You reap what you sow’; we have choices, whether it is good or bad, so if we do good then good will follow us and if we do bad then bad will follow us.

The disturbing stories in the news are an awakening to our society – no matter who we are, our status in society does not matter when it comes to telling the truth, only time tells, even if you think it is all ‘hunky dory’, in other words… when one thinks everything is alright… More and more frequently we see examples of immoral behaviours that are coming out into the open. The sexual abuse that was committed decades or years ago by people of high standing, e.g. priests and politicians are now being exposed in the media. The abuse of trust and confidentiality, in the light of high security information being released to the world, and the dilemmas these individuals involved now face …BEWARE, you are being warned by the outcome of persons who are regarded as perpetrators.

Think before you act – because you can never take back your action/s or word/s once they are executed… it is best to way your words, assess them before you make any decisions.

Bible Quote:

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7-9 (KJV)
