Watch out… for The Bandit – He’s at Large!!

“Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan  came also among them.

And the LORD said unto Satan , Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, from going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. Job 1:6 -7 KJV”

He’s a bandit… He’s a wanted man – have nothing to do with him for he’s an outcast.  You have been WARNED….!

Now here the sons of God, ‘comes before their Maker’, to receive His commands, instructions and Satan uninvited showed up – why? Because he does not respect the Holy Authority of God.

He was fierce enough to answer back God when he asked him, “Whence comest thou”?  In other words, “who invited you”?  You are an intruder, you have no place here, and this is Holy pavilion. Let me say this… Satan is still fierce, he has No Shame!

We can see clearly here, the very presumptuousness of sin and how it can make an individual bold enough to be an affiliate of Satan. The Devil presented himself before a Holy God, he didn’t care… He had his motives and still has; Satan did not disregard himself as an outsider, why? Because he himself was an angelic being and was holy; through covetousness, he fell from grace.

Sometimes we stay within the limitations of our own understanding of the scriptures… without trying to explore the deeper meaning of the word God, the Creator… of all things.

Let us realise, in this our day and age, that as God’s people, when or where we congregate to worship… as we present ourselves before Him, so the old dragon (Satan) will, also, present himself. He is always on a mission and he is subtle… ‘wolf in sheep clothing’. Sometimes we do underestimate the powers of Satan, and hence so many people are deceived, that is why we are encouraged to live in the word and pray daily.

Remember when Jesus had just finished His fasting, He was on a high with His Father and the slue-foot (father of lies, the Devil) was on the scene straight away, to tempt the Provider, the owner of all things, both in heaven and in earth… He came to Him using the word of God. (For ref. see Matthew 4:1 – 11 KJV).

The Opposer

Ever been in a situation where you have got brilliant ideas for the betterment of your establishment or group to gain positive achievement… You put them forward but your ideas are opposed to something less beneficial.  Satan is an Opposer, don’t be an Opposer or a defiant agent to good deeds. We see it all the time, even in Governments’ today, right across the globe.

The Adversary is full of tricks; you have to be on the alert, be one step ahead of him. ‘People, we have to be watchful’, the enemy of our lives and soul is bold and fierce enough to present himself with the sons of God (who are holy angelic beings) and to come before a Holy God. “Who are we then that he will not challenge us”?

To be continued….

Until Next Time:

Can we be counted…? Can I be counted?

Be Blessed
