Hope For The Best

I hope this week has been quite rewarding for you.

Sometimes things don’t always go as we planned. Sometimes we get frustrated, angry or anxious. Sometimes before they get better, they get worse!

All we have to do is trust God. Trusting God, sometimes mean we have to be still, say less and just do the best we can.

My encouragement for you today is, do the best you can, the way you can and let God do the rest.

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;”

Colossians 3:23 KJV

Follow after Truth

We are now coming to the close of the third month in the year already!!

Consider this thought – So often, the physical side of us takes over God’s designed purpose for our lives.

If you and I are not careful we lose out on our blessings … God’s purpose for us!

Too many times we are caught up in our zeal about what we want to do and so we listen to what we want to hear and not what is right and just.

Our lives should be a picture of being real and true people – we owe it to ourselves and others. Without these attributes you and I would be like a battered boat tossing about with every wind and waves of things that are false.

The truth is in God’s words, empowered by His Holy Spirit

Through God’s grace, you and I can make it to be the person God wants us to be

We need to stay focus and stay in silence sometimes, listening to God’s voice -to know what’s real from what’s false

Why not take time out today to do just that

God richly Bless you!

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”

James 4:17 KJV

God is Always Able

Praise Jesus, God is always able! When nobody can, Jesus can do far more!

Let us not be weary in well doing,
or get frustrated when things don’t seem to go the way as we planned.

There is always a better way, than focusing on what should have been or what if- cast your care on Him.
Jesus alone knows all about our circumstances, there’s nothing hidden from Him- He’s abundantly able.

There are no easy solutions these days, to many of the problems that face us as individuals. It’s a matter of having a settled peace in the midst of the struggles.
The heartache and pain some of the problems cause us to feel, if it had not been for God on our side, we would have given up.

In your problems trust God, even when you don’t feel like it – remember it is not over until God says so!

So be strong, be courageous and stay calm amidst the strong tides of life’s billows.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13 KJV

True Relationship is Healthy

‘Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good’.  When someone expect you to react in harsh manner, you can respond by saying God bless you- they will not know what to say…..

When you’re being accused or taken for granted and people take your meekness for weakness, trying to make you feel bad- considering what they are throwing at you … It’s the enemy at work, trying to distort your peace of mind.

Defeat him and say- Satan you’re a liar in Jesus name, the blood of Jesus rebuke you.

We are living in a world with selfish people, when they can’t get their own way, they allow Satan influences to bring conflicts to their relationship with others.

Some people may have had some bad experiences in their early years and they bring those things into their adulthood and into the lives of others.

Before you know it, these actions can cause good relationships to become distant. The negative effects could bring harm than good.

You may even experience accusations that you can’t seem to understand and you may wonder to yourself, ‘where in God’s name did this come from’? especially if it’s from the person instigating the problem.

You thought you have been having a fairly good relationship, the last time you checked with the individual, but they sneaky about you and let it appear as if you have done them wrongly. That’s the hardest part to work out.

It now appears, they are using others to side with them, at times those persons are vulnerable.

People only do that because they have their own motives, maybe selfish … it’s wrong!

God is just and righteous in judgement. He pays every man according to their works, so you and I don’t have to scheme up anything to make people lives hell!

So, let us therefore

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Romans 12:21 KJV

Welcome to a new month

Now we have ended our journey of January.

Let’s pause or awhile and reflect on the good things that happened on our journey to -here.

Forget for now, the ugly things, misdemeanours that may have come your way or to someone close to you …. let us give God thanks for enabling us to enter into a new month.

May the presence of God, go before you this month of February. May He protect you from harm and evil. May you be adjusted to God promptings today and always, whether it shows up as a gentle tug or a strong conviction.

May He lead you besides quiet waters; and may His rod and staff comfort you this month and always. May His goodness and mercy be yours today and forever. In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

This month You can choose to be unforgiving, bitter or miserable – or you can choose to forgive, be rational and work through your challenges with peace.

The Mirror today 1/2/19, says- Met Office warns of ‘risk to life’ and Britain shuts early as snowfall hits….  Despite this forecast, let us declare a Very Good Day, a blessed Month.

Surely, if we are honest and true to ourselves, even by our actions, God will surely come through for us.

It is still Jesus

Let me encourage you and myself today because – it is still Jesus.

In your lonesomeness – it is Jesus, when you feel no one cares – it is still Jesus.
When your friends are not around – still Jesus.
When there is no money in your pocket – it’s still Jesus.
When there’s not enough food on your table- still Jesus.
In our sorrow – it’s still Jesus, in pain – it’s still Jesus.

Don’t be angry, don’t be Grievous when things are going wrong, nor go in despair. Don’t go in self-pity either even when it seems your friends are all gone – because it’s still Jesus.
When you want to make the right decisions and don’t know which way to go – it’s still Jesus.

Let us just remember to have our loved ones, families, our communities, even our enemies in our thoughts and prayers.

We are living in an era where every man for themselves, or life has become so busy it’s hard to catch up, people are faced with so many problems and difficulties, through it all – it is still Jesus.

God truly bless the who can forget about them-self and can sacrifice a few minutes with someone else – all because of Jesus.

Why it’s still Jesus? He’s always there when no one else can be found.

God bless you richly!

Don’t Let Situations Determine Your Life

The devil doesn’t want God’s people to be happy’; he wants people to be unhappy, unhealthy and miserable, don’t give him the opportunity to do that to you, he’s done that for years to a lot of us but God stepped in for individuals like me and I took the challenge!

Don’t let him rob you of your happiness.

Whatever is worrying you, if you feel you can’t share it with anyone … tell Jesus. He is a friend like no other!

Sometimes it is our pride that hurts rather than the situation.

When my son passed, I was in turmoil thinking about what people think, but it was really by trusting God I learned not to think too much about people and what’s going on in people’s minds.

No matter what goes on in life, whether it has to do with you, me or someone else, people will talk. They will speak good and bad, you and I have no control over the talkers, so concentrate on how to overcome your circumstances.

If you spend time thinking what people are thinking, especially if you’re a role model in your family, your workplace or community … it will drain your patience and strength.

No one is exempt from awful circumstances happening to us or a family member, even our children.

When you have done your best or feel you have played a positive role in some way, be encouraged.

We can never get it right all the time.

We learn from our mistakes and move on to positive thinking and understanding, to continue our journey with our family members who are most important.

Don’t let negative things / thoughts get in your way of happiness, life is too short and so you have to leave negative things and people behind.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV
